Blame Game – A new way to build community!
Students from Berghs School of Communication, together with us at Stockholms studentbostäder, have developed Blame Game, a card game designed to create conversations about shared spaces more fun and engaging! We all know that living with others can be a challenge. Kitchens, hallways, and laundry rooms can quickly become sources of frustration – but now we’re introducing a game that helps break the ice and fosters meaningful dialogue.
What is Blame Game?
Blame Game is a card game with various question categories that encourage players to share their thoughts and experiences. Through questions ranging from how dishwashing is handled to little secrets we all have, the game aims to improve cooperation and understanding of each other’s perspectives.
How to Play Blame Game:
- Take turns drawing a card – When it’s your turn, draw a card and read the question out loud to everyone.
- Everyone participates – Try not to skip! It’s all about being honest and having fun together.
- Explore hidden truths – The game includes questions like “Have you ever…?” that reveal secrets and spark fun conversations.
Game Categories:
- Nobody’s Gonna Know
Two choices, same result. Pick an option and see how others think differently. - Same Same But Different
Two scenarios with the same outcome. Choose one and see how others reason. - Get Clean With Me
Share something personal or confess a secret. It’s time to be honest and give a thoughtful answer – no yes/no responses. - That’s Interesting!?
Two scenarios – there are no right or wrong answers. Choose between “Would you rather X or X?” and start a conversation.
Blame Game will be available in our communal kitchens in corridors. You can also pick up the game for free at our reception at Körsbärsvägen 2.
