Start booking

You can book up to three homes at the same time and you can see your bookings here. It is the student with the most number of waiting days who receives a housing offer. If two people have the same number of queue days, the offer is sent to the person who registered first in our housing queue.

If you are the person with the highest number of queue days on more than one of your bookings you will only recieve one offer on one of these and it is our system that randomly sends out a housing offer. Which means you cannot rank your bookings so it is important that you think about only booking homes that you really want.

If the person who received a housing offer declines, the home is published again. Thus, it does not pass on to the person with the second highest amount of queue days.

You need a certificate to prove your studies

It is important that you can provide proof that you are studying or about to begin studying at least 50% at a university affiliated with SSCO, and that you are a registered student union member on Mina sidor. If you are unable to provide this when you receive a housing offer, we will not be able to approve your tenancy agreement. We do not accept summer courses as valid proof for signing a tenancy agreement.

Are you studying at the Stockholm School of Economics? Then you need to provide a Course Registration Certificate. Please contact the school’s staff to obtain the correct certificate.

For doctoral students: You need a certificate confirming a study activity of at least 50%. The certificate must follow our doctoral student template. Download the doctoral certificate template here.

You can book housing even if you are not yet a Student Union member, up until 15 February for the spring semester and 15 September for the autumn semester. After these dates, Student Union membership is required. Please note that you must be able to present your admission letter.

Priority

If you have special and strong reasons, priority may be granted in our housing queue. Preferably, it applies to medical and social reasons as well as disability that is supported by medical certificates. Reasons like being pregnant, crowded, homeless, long distances to/from the higher education institution are not reasons for applying for priority. You have no guarantee that you will receive exactly the type of home you want if you are granted priority.

Please note that if you are granted priority it can take several months before a suitable home becomes vacant. If you decline a sent housing offer, you have used up your priority and you will then have to book a home as usual in our housing queue.

You can find the application form for priority and information about what you need to attach in your application here.
