Broadband and TV

All our properties have broadband and tv from Telenor. The broadband fee is included in your rental invoice and cannot be deselected. This is stipulated in an agreement between the Stockholm Student Tenants’ Association (SSF) and Stockholms studentbostäder.

Broadband

To get your broadband up and running, you need a network cable that you connect directly to your computer. If you want wifi in your home, you can connect your own wifi router to the network socket.

Our internet operator is Telenor. If you experience any issues with your broadband connection, contact their customer service at 020 – 222 222. Make sure to mention that you live with Stockholms studentbostäder and provide your street address and apartment number.

Speed and Performance

The broadband connection has a maximum speed of 250/250 Mbit/s, meaning 250 Mbit/s downstream and 250 Mbit/s upstream. Depending on your address and the building’s infrastructure, the speed may vary by up to 60 Mbit/s both upstream and downstream.

Please note that it is not possible to upgrade to a higher speed on your own.

TV

In most of our properties, you can connect an antenna cable between the TV outlet and your television to receive analogue TV channels.

If you live at Professorsslingan 47–53, Armégatan 32 B–C, or in the Birka residential area, TV is provided through an IP-based solution. To get started, please contact Telenor at +46 20 222 222.

Please note that the TV antenna outlets in the Kungshamra residential area can no longer be used for TV reception. The outlets will be permanently disconnected during autumn 2026.

If you would like access to additional TV channels, you will need to sign your own subscription with Telenor.
