Electricity in your home
In several of our homes, electricity is included in the rent. Look at your tenancy agreement to see what applies to your home. The following types of tenancy agreement exist:
- Electricity included: Your electricity consumption is included in the rent.
- Electricity not included: You pay for the electricity you use and you must contact an electricity company yourself and take out an electricity subscription before you move in.
- Individual electricity: It’s stated as “El Schablon” on your rental agreement. This means that we pay for the subscription and then add a charge for the electricity you use onto your rent invoice every month.
Our intention is to introduce smart metering into more of our properties.
Electricity network in our housing areas
For those of you who need to order an electricity subscription, you will also need a subscription for the electricity network. Below you can see which electricity company you need to contact to sign up for a subscription.
