Our housing queue rules

The regulations that we at Stockholms studentbostäder comply with are SSCO’s Instructions for the student housing queue and student housing tenancy.

You need to turn at least 17 and no more than 50 during the current year.
We cannot sign a tenancy agreement with anyone under the age of 18.
Your place in the queue is personal and cannot be transferred or taken over by someone else.
You cannot combine your queue days with someone else’s.
You may only have one registered account with us.
To rent student housing from us, you may not own a condominium in the Stockholm area.
To collect more than 90 queue days, you need to be an active student and a member of a Student Union affiliated with United Students of Stockholm (SSCO).
Your place in the queue can be parked for a total of 36 months during your time in the queue.
Once we have signed your tenancy agreement, your queue days will be deleted.

Have signed a tenancy agreement. The block applies from the signing date and for three months after the tenancy start date.
Have an approved study break. The block applies until your tenancy review has been approved.
Have an outstanding debt to SSSB. The block applies until the debt has been settled.
Have made two or more payments more than 14 days after the due date within a period of six months. The block applies for six months from the date the most recent debt was settled.
Have failed to look after your previous home or have breached the terms of the tenancy agreement or the instructions.
Have received notice of termination from SSSB, for example following a tenancy review. The block applies during the notice period and for six months after moving out.
Have deliberately provided incorrect information or certificates, or otherwise manipulated our housing queue to improve your chances of obtaining student housing.
Have reached a total tenancy period of 5.5 years.
Have turned 51.
