We’re making room for more students

Stockholm is growing and we at Stockholms studentbostäder are very much part of it. In 2017, we were in full swing with our construction of 248 new student housing in the Strix area of ​​Solna and in September of that year we had our first completed new construction in many years. In January 2018, more students were able to move into our second house at Strix and the new construction at Strix was completed.

At the beginning of 2016, the detailed plan gained legal power for our new student housing at Lappkärrsberget, close to Stockholm University. In April 2017, two architectural firms were chosen to design the new houses and in June 2018 Peab was commissioned to build the first 297 student apartments in the area. Construction started autumn 2018 and the first move in will be during the summmer of 2020.

And there will be more – in the next ten years we plan for 2,000 new student housing!

We see our housing as places where students should enjoy, develop and strengthen their relationships with other students. In our vision, “Building the future through attractive homes for students”, we visualize campus areas that welcome diversity and inspire innovation.
