Renovation of residences
We are renovating at Kungshamra
We will be renovating and rebuilding several of our properties at Kungshamra. Until the renovation begins, the apartments will be rented under special conditions.
Below is more information regarding the affected addresses.
Kungshamra 51
These apartments are being renovated, and at the same time, corridor rooms are being converted into apartments with private kitchens. As a tenant at Kungshamra, your residence will not be directly affected, but since the renovation impacts the area, we want you to be aware of the following information.
All residences at these addresses will be vacant during the ongoing work.
How the area is affected
• The buildings undergoing renovation will be fenced off.
• A construction site will be established at House 51, which may impact accessibility in the area.
• Construction transport and work may cause noise between 08:00 and 17:00, Monday to Friday.
Preliminary schedule
• Work starts: March 17, 2025
• The entire renovation is expected to be completed during summer 2026
Kungshamra 32-36
These residences will be rented under fixed-term contracts until the renovation begins. You can only stay in the apartment until the contract’s end date.
When signing the contract, you will need to sign a waiver of tenancy security. This means you do not have the right to remain in the residence after we terminate the contract. We always terminate rental contracts with at least three months’ notice.
If you already live with us without a fixed-term rental contract, you will receive more information about how this affects you before the work begins.

Kungshamra 31, 41, 42-46, 52-56, 64, 71, and 72-76
These residences will be rented under fixed-term contracts until the renovation begins. When signing the contract, you will need to sign a waiver of tenancy security.
Preliminary schedule
• The project is preliminarily set to start in 2026 for Kungshamra 31, Kungshamra 42-46, and Kungshamra 71.
• The project is preliminarily set to start in 2027 for Kungshamra 41, Kungshamra 64, Kungshamra 72-76, and Kungshamra 52-56.
Kungshamra 47 and 48
If you move into a two-room apartment at these addresses, you will need to sign a waiver of tenancy security when signing the contract.
The reason for this is that we may need these apartments as temporary housing due to the renovation of Kungshamra 32-36 and Kungshamra 42-46.
We always terminate rental contracts with at least three months’ notice. If you want to stay with us, you need to book a new residence using your queue days.
