Are you going to start studying as a parent?
You can definitely stay with us if you have children. You can live in apartments that have 1-4 rooms and a kitchen/kitchenette, but not in student rooms. If you want to live in an apartment that has 2-4 rooms that require a co-tenant, you can choose to register your partner as a co-tenant. If you are single with children, you can book an accommodation that needs a co-tenant. During the signing process, you need to present a family certificate showing that you are the guardian of the child.
If you want to live in an apartment that requires a co-tenant and have reached at least twelve weeks of pregnancy, you can do so by presenting a pregnancy certificate from a doctor or maternity care center when signing a rental agreement.
If you already live with us
If you live in a student room intended for one person and have reached at least twelve weeks of pregnancy or if your partner has reached at least twelve weeks of pregnancy, you can apply for priority of switching to an apartment that requires a co-tenant. This is provided that you meet the study requirement and other commitments to us, have lived at least six months with SSSB and have not reached the maximum period of tenancy stay.
Please note that it may take some time before we find a suitable home to offer you who have been granted a priority.
