Our study requirements & Student Union membership

The regulations that we at Stockholms studentbostäder comply with are SSCO’s Instructions for the student housing queue and student housing tenancy.

Our study requirements

To live with us, you need to study at least half-time and complete at least 15 ECTS credits or equivalent per semester at a higher education institution affiliated with SSCO.

We accept FUP (pre-education credits), which are credits from supplementary courses at upper secondary school level.

We check that you meet our study requirements when you sign a tenancy agreement, during a tenancy review and through random checks.

Population registration

To live with us, you need to be registered at your student housing address. We check that you meet this requirement during your tenancy. You can report your change of address on the Swedish Tax Agency’s website.

You need to be a member of a Student Union

Throughout your tenancy with us, you need to be a member of an SSCO-affiliated Student Union. Our system performs daily checks against the membership registers of SSCO’s member unions to ensure that you have an active Student Union membership.

Your Student Union membership on My Pages

You need to have an active place in the queue for the system to be able to search for your membership.

Once your Student Union membership has been registered, My Pages will show that you are a Student Union member. It is your responsibility to check that your membership has been registered. If you have paid for your Student Union membership but it has not been updated on My Pages, you need to contact your Student Union to check that your details are correct.

Please note! It is important that you register the same email address and Swedish personal identity number with us as with your Student Union. Our system uses these details to search for your Student Union membership.
