      Time to move in

On our moving-in site you can find lots of good information before your move in, such as a checklist, which House Caretaker’s office you will belong to, where you will wash your clothes and lots more.

The moving in date is the 1st or 16th of each month and you can see this information on your rental agreement. If this date occurs on a weekend or holiday, you will be able to pick up your keys the following weekday. Only you as a tenant on the rental agreement can pick up the keys and only after your rental agreement has become valid.

You collect your key at the House Caretaker’s office to which your address belongs to. You can find your House Caretaker’s office and opening hours here.

When you step into your new home, it is important that you “inspect” so that everything looks okay. You can see the inspection protocol of the accommodation on My pages. You have a week to report any errors to your House Caretaker and you do this directly on the inspection record. If the accommodation is not cleaned, you need to contact your House Caretaker who will come to inspect and possibly order a cleaning from a cleaning company.

When you move, you need to report a change of address to the Swedish Tax Agency so that your address is correct in the population register. Report your change of address in advance or no later than one week after you have moved. The Swedish Tax Agency spreads your new address to many authorities and companies, but if you wish to have other mail forwarded, you can order it from Swedish address change for a fee.

You should be registered on the address where you live. Since July 1, 2018, it is a crime to submit incorrect information or to not notify changed population information to the Swedish Tax Agency when moving.
